The Lynn Valley Voices present Two Remembrance Choral Concerts
The Lynn Valley Voices, Norfolk County’s only mixed-voice choral ensemble, invite you to their Peace and Remembrance concerts taking place in Port Dover and Simcoe.
Founded in 2015, the Lynn Valley Voices feature more than 30 talented choristers under the direction of Janice Ketchen, with Linda Boll accompanying on piano. Their upcoming performances will present moving choral works that reflect on war, peace, harmony, and the hope for a more beautiful world.
The program includes powerful musical settings of beloved poems and texts such as In Flanders Fields, Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep, Let There Be Peace on Earth, and They Shall Grow Not Old. The choir will also be joined by guest instrumentalists on flute, violin, and organ, adding a rich musical texture to the performance.
