The Feds Rock the Lodge

Port Dover — The Erie Masonic Lodge was bursting with energy on Saturday afternoon as The Feds took the stage for another installment of Live at the Lodge, the weekly 2–6 p.m. music series that’s quickly becoming one of Port Dover’s best-kept secrets.

The crowd packed the hall shoulder-to-shoulder, and it didn’t take long for the familiar rhythms of classic rock and pop favourites to get people singing, tapping their feet, and even dancing near the back. From the first note, The Feds reminded everyone why they’re one of Norfolk County’s most beloved live bands — tight harmonies, great energy, and a setlist full of songs everyone knows by heart.

It’s no wonder they’ve built such a loyal following. The Feds are one of the oldest continuously performing bands in Norfolk County, having first formed back in 1967. Decades later, they’re still bringing people together with the timeless sound of live rock and roll.

The afternoon had that unmistakable small-town warmth: neighbours greeting each other, laughter between songs, and the kind of buzz that only comes when a community gathers to share live music.

If you missed this one, don’t worry — Live at the Lodge (427 Main Street Port Dover) runs every Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m., featuring some of the best local talent Norfolk has to offer.
